Growing up in a family full of beautiful, creative women, Mercedes understood makeup as an essential piece of your overall wardrobe. This started her love of the beauty industry and at an early age, she knew that a career in the beauty industry was exactly what she wanted.
In 2008, Mercedes began her makeup career with MAC Cosmetics. Her journey through retail cosmetics has allowed her to work with prestige brands such as Laura Mercier, NARS and Inglot Cosmetics. With each opportunity, Mercedes has gained a wealth of makeup education and overall professionalism. This has led to working with large corporations such as Facebook and Systex, area sports teams such as The Washington Spirit and The Washington Commanders Cheerleaders and Ambassadors, national and international news sources such as Al Jazeera, NBC, Telemundo, TV One, and a host of local photographers and production companies including Ascender Communications and Shala Wilson Photography.
